The beachside location is lovely, and although the hotel is outside central Giulianova, you can get to the centre on foot without much trouble. Staff were friendly and keen to help. We had a large royal room with a sea view that could easily have held two more people. The pool looked clean, though we didn't use it. The reception and shared spaces are attractive, but the rooms seem stuck in the 1970s and have almost no amenities. A small coffee maker or a lounge chair for enjoying the sea view would have been welcome. The walls were so thin that calling them paper-thin would be generous. A party downstairs went on until 1 a.m. and kept us from sleeping; the lack of insulation also meant the neighbors woke us earlier than we wanted. If beach access matters most and you're willing to accept those drawbacks, it could suit you. For a relaxing stay, I'd keep looking.

The pool area is lovely, and across the road there's a beautiful white-sand beach. The hotel itself is bright and beautiful, though the rooms feel dated. They're spacious, with amazing air conditioning, and WiFi worked in the rooms and throughout the hotel. Dinner gave us a few problems, but the staff did all they could to help. A lovely place to stay.

The rooms are very spacious, clean, and tidy, and breakfast was fantastic, with loads of food and drinks to choose from. We didn't try the restaurant. The hotel's American Bar is expensive and not really family-friendly. The building is a little old, but very well kept, and the public spaces are clean and comfortable. There's private parking, included in the family card along with pool and beach services. The private beach is 10 metres away, with a beach bar and restaurant, hot and cold showers, a smoking area, sports spaces for pong and beach volleyball, a kids' playground, and other great services.

The service and food were both five-star, and the pool is amazing. The beach and water are good enough that I'd add three days to a stay. But for a place rated four stars, the building needs a major update. It feels like the four-star rating belonged to 30 years ago, and the room TVs have only been updated to 15-inch LEDs.

The beach is perfect, and the restaurant food was good. But the hotel feels very old-fashioned and needs renovation. It's a family hotel, so evenings get very noisy with the children's entertainment.
