Hotel Àvila

The restaurant impressed me most. The chef is fantastic, and the food felt worthy of a 5-star hotel. The value for money was superb too. I was there during the week of August 15th. The hotel is just a few steps from the sea, with a big pine forest between it and the main road. It's a lovely setting, though a little far from the town center. The shuttles work quite well. Cleanliness and service were impeccable, and the owner was extremely kind and attentive to guests' needs.

Matteo and Stefano deserve a mention. They’re young, but very professional, and looked after us from the moment we entered the dining room until we left. The rest of the staff were kind and friendly too. We spent 10 days here and were very happy with the service, cleanliness, and location. We’ll be back.

A friend suggested this place, and my partner and I were glad we tried it. The hospitality and service were fantastic, even though we only stayed three days. We’ll definitely return next year for a longer visit.

I really enjoyed my 7 days here and hope to come back next year. It felt like a place where you could feel at home. Francesco, the owner, was kind and welcoming, and always ready to answer questions with a smile. The family management was excellent. The grounds were welcoming and quiet, with a lovely, well-kept garden and a pleasant pool. The pine forest between the hotel and beach is part of the property, and early in the morning you can spot squirrels. The beach was tidy and organized, with umbrellas spaced well apart. My first-floor single room was kept clean and in good shape, with fresh towels and toiletries every day. The food was varied and very good, especially the mixed fried seafood, which was exceptional. The staff were young and not all professional, but they were helpful, kind, and cheerful. Breakfast does need changes. It’s served as it is, and the menu should offer more variety each morning, perhaps fruit or eggs.
