We had to ask the management of Hotel Santa Caterina in Gizzeria to move our booking to a new rental date because of circumstances we couldn’t foresee. They refused, without giving an explanation. Since we had to pay the full booking amount two weeks before arrival, their lack of flexibility and customer service was very disappointing. I strongly recommend thinking twice before booking with this hotel.

For an overnight rest while passing through, I’d highly recommend it. The owners are lovely and very helpful, the rooms are clean, and the beds are quite comfortable. Just don’t expect anything spectacular beyond that.

We spent two weeks here, and the owners were very friendly. The hotel felt clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts were excellent. A supermarket is close by. The sea and the towns of Falerna and Gizzeria, where there are good restaurants, are just a few kilometers away by car.

The breakfast was spectacular, especially the phenomenal pastries. The rooms were clean, with TVs and free Wi-Fi, and the owners were kind and helpful. We stayed last night and will definitely come back.
