B&B Casa Derosas

The location near the city center is convenient, and our room was clean, which is why we gave it two stars. We stayed five nights, with practically no reception service during that whole time. Breakfast was meager and unchanged each day, just packaged snacks and frozen croissants baked in the oven. Doors banging in neighboring rooms were noisy too. We don't recommend this B&B.

We only stayed one night in the Taverna, which was spacious and clean, though the furnishings felt dated. When I asked the owner how to warm milk for my baby since there was no kettle or microwave, his response was that my husband should take it to a bar to be heated. That was unfortunate. Breakfast was meager, just a cappuccino and croissant with a couple of discount-brand juices. It's very convenient for boarding at Golfo Aranci.

The hotel looks beautiful from outside and has lots of shaded places to sit. Our basement room was okay, but the cleaning was only so-so, and it got just indirect natural light. At €80 a night, the room felt a bit overpriced, so three stars.

We had a wonderful week, and the De Rosas family were kind, polite, and helpful throughout. The rooms were large and clean, and the sea was quite close. Third Beach is beautiful. I also forgot my son's glasses, and the owners kindly mailed them to me in Rome. Thanks for everything, we'll be back soon!
