il Girasole

Paolo was professional and helpful when we needed assistance, though I think there was only so much he could do while the owner left repairs undone. The price was low, but still too much for an apartment with a mouldy smell. Outside, the property looked fine. Inside our one-bedroom ground-floor apartment, ventilation was limited and the air smelled of mould. The kitchen cupboard surfaces were peeling, and water leaked from the shower, apparently damaging its door over time. With no extractor fan, paint was coming off the bathroom ceiling. The bed had no mattress protector, and the mattress itself didn't feel hygienic. The TV was small and old, with a booster, which wasn't ideal. The owner needs to put money into maintenance and upgrades.

The quiet surroundings and nearby large shop made the stay easy, and we’d happily come back. We had a spacious, clean and tidy flat, with a separate kitchen that was fully equipped. Breakfast on the terrace came with a lovely mountain view. There was even a hairdryer in the bathroom, a nice surprise. Paolo was what made the place special. He was caring and helpful, sorted out what we needed, and had recommendations for places to visit and eat.

Paolo was so nice and gave us plenty of useful tips for making the most of our holiday. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable, including parking, and it was close to the beach. Great value for the money. I’d recommend it and would stay again. Grazie Mille, Paolo!!!

We think the property has a lot of potential. Paolo is very personable and ready to help if any problems come up. Thank you for your kind and honest feedback.
