Relax in Marinella With sea View

The apartment was clean, and the residence sits somewhere quiet. The beach is about ten minutes away. We had to wait, though: check-in wasn’t possible until after 4, and the room wasn’t ready until 5.

There’s a market, a bar, and a restaurant on site, and we liked them. The place itself is quiet, away from the cities but fairly close to the wonderful sea. The rooms are a bit old, although they have what you need, and the service was good. We were tired, though, and having to wait a few hours for the room keys was rough.

We were there for ten nights, three families with 11 children. The garbage was never collected, from the start of the holiday right through to the end. They were supposed to change the sheets after a week, but that didn’t happen either. It was disgusting enough that animals came to eat out of the trash can. Customer service was completely absent, and service was suspended. These things feel like they haven’t changed in thirty years. They contacted us about a refund and offered a discount for next year, but we wouldn’t dream of staying there again, even by mistake.

We were delighted with the location, facilities, and cleanliness on our first stay at Residence Corti di Marinella. The area is very quiet, and the residence is elegant and well looked after. The beach is reached through the charming port, about a 7-8 minute walk, and there are lots of coves with beautiful rocks nearby. We’ll definitely return. We’re a family of four, two adults and two children. The apartment was very spacious, with a large terrace and all the comforts we needed. Air conditioning, available on request, was in both the main bedroom and the living room with the sofa bed. The bathroom was spotless, and the kitchenette was very convenient.
