Sardinia Blu Residence

We paid around €3,000 for 14 days and felt it was nowhere near worth that. For the apartment we got, we wouldn’t have paid even €1,000. We’re seeking partial reimbursement through legal means and strongly advise against booking here. Our stay ran from July 5th to July 19th, 2025, and we were dissatisfied from the start. What we found didn’t match the Booking.com photos or description. We’d booked a room with a balcony and sea view, but were put in an apartment on a busy road, with a sea view only to one side. Traffic and a loud external air conditioning unit made the balcony practically unusable. The room felt cold and unwelcoming, almost like a hospital room. It had harsh white lighting, a dirty sofa, no bedside lamps, uncomfortable furniture and missing kitchen utensils. The room was noisy, too. There was a connecting door to the neighboring apartment, so every sound carried. The bathroom drain smelled foul. Housekeeping was another problem. We expected daily cleaning, but on arrival were told it wasn’t included. There were no cleaning supplies, no towel changes and no kitchen trash bin. We had to buy our own garbage bags and hang them inside the apartment. The pool was much smaller than it appeared in the pictures, and some loungers were broken. The TV’s Wi-Fi didn’t work. Our complaint through Booking.com was ignored. We got a generic list of supposed great features, then silence. The stay felt extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Never again!

Beware, this place was awful. The rooms looked nothing like the photos and were very dirty, with poor lighting. The air conditioning unit was in the back bedroom. When I said the room didn’t match its picture, the owner became aggressive and rude. They sent someone to start taking our suitcase out of the room while I was trying to explain that I was looking for another place to stay. It was very late, peak season, and I was there with my two children in a country where we didn’t speak the language. As we left, the owner refused to give me a receipt confirming my refund. I recorded them clearly saying they would return my money. I booked through Booking, but they said I was a no-show and never refunded me. I’ve disputed it with my bank and still can’t get a resolution. I’m out $1,306.42, plus another $2000 for somewhere else to stay. Since they marked me as a no-show, I can’t leave a review on Booking.

The location was great, the place was clean, and the staff were friendly!
