It was nice being able to bring my dog, and the room was comfortable. Breakfast had a few different options, and sometimes little “mercantini” stalls popped up right outside with interesting things to browse. I wasn't sure if that was a regular thing, but it made the place feel cozy. The air conditioning was set too cold by default, which was my one complaint. I'd happily stay here again.

There are lots of bicycles available, free for up to 5 hours, which made exploring the lovely old city of Grado easy. The hotel also has an unusual Cubistic design, a good location, and a generous breakfast. Some fixtures are old-fashioned in a charming way, like the metal room keys, though the doors don't close automatically.

I had the worst night of my life here. The street was quiet, but the other guests were unbelievably loud. I could hear every footstep, key, child, and tiny noise as if there were no door between us. I couldn't sleep at all.

Easy access to the beach and free parking outside the hotel. The people were lovely and the customer service was great. Breakfast had a huge range of food, and the cakes were good quality too.
