The staff were kind and helpful, and the hotel itself is nice. Our room was small but had all we needed, including a balcony. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. The pool and whirlpool were nice to have, especially since the nearby beach isn't great for swimming because the water is shallow. There's a poolside snack bar with beer, cocktails, water, pizza, panini, and chips, though I couldn't tell what hours it kept. The bar stays open late, and the guy working there is the best. Borrowing a bike was really useful, since the city center is about 3 kilometers away and easy to reach by bike. They also offer a free cold drink by reception during the day. If you want to sit outside in the evening, be ready for mosquitoes.

The free bikes were a real plus, since the hotel is in an area without much going on and Grado itself isn’t central from here. We rode into town, which was lovely. The pool area was pleasant, with good sun loungers, and the staff were very nice. Our family of four, with two teenagers, found the room a bit small but manageable, and the air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was okay, though the hotel feels dated and could use some refreshing. We booked through booking.com, so beach sunbeds weren’t included.

We loved our week here and are already hoping to come back. The family has run the hotel for generations, and it feels like they’ve put real care into making it a relaxing place. It’s tucked among lovely trees and gardens, just 70m from the beach and bike path. Borrowing the bikes was a highlight. The food was delicious, with lots to choose from, and the service was warm and attentive. Our room was quiet and stylish, with a great bed, A/C, and a ceiling fan.
