We had a beautiful dinner outdoors, surrounded by nature, while the sun was setting. The owner and manager is a lovely woman who took time to speak with each table. She was on her own and the restaurant was busy, so service took a while. People who arrived after us got their plates first, and we were getting nervous because we were really hungry. Once the food arrived, we forgot about the wait. The red wine was exceptionally good. My vegetarian pasta had meat in it, so I switched plates with my boyfriend rather than wait longer. The owner apologized for the mix-up, and we put it down to how busy the restaurant was. It’s a beautiful traditional Italian restaurant in a natural setting. I’d recommend going when you’re not starving like we were, so you can enjoy dinner.

We stayed here with our bus camper and really liked the place. Dinner was very good, too. We chose the 90 euro all-in menu for two, which was generous, including a 1 kg T-bone steak, and worth the money.

The restaurant feels homely, the service was wonderful, and the views are amazing. Everything we ate was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful even though they spoke little English. It’s in a house at the top of a hill. The drive up is a bit tricky, and you pass several medieval ruins, but the views at the top are amazing. We really enjoyed dinner there.

The breakfast service was really disappointing. We arrived in the breakfast room and asked for coffee, but the lady didn’t get around to making it. She spent 20 minutes in the kitchen on her phone, talking about personal matters. We had to listen to the heated conversation while waiting for her to finally serve us coffee.
