LE MURA Foresteria

We arrived at 1am and needed a place since we weren’t staying near Bergamo, so this did the job. The room was okay, clean enough, and cheap enough for a few hours of sleep before heading out. If you’re alone or uncomfortable walking through dark, poorly lit industrial areas, I’d take a taxi.

The area is a somewhat deserted industrial zone, with no sidewalks, so I walked along the car lanes. There weren’t many cars passing, though, and there are two nice nearby cafes serving full lunch and dinner meals with good ratings. I’d rather stay somewhere remote with good rooms than in the town center with poor conditions. Inside, everything was super clean and fresh. The room was very warm in winter, and the shower water was hot too. There’s a TV, AC, coffee machine, and a small clean wardrobe with plenty of hangers. The windows, bed, and pillow all felt modern and nice. I appreciated how much care the owner put into this hotel. Late check-in is possible, and the 10am checkout seems reasonable and convenient.

The rooms let in quite a lot of sound. I could hear planes, toilets flushing, and cleaning staff at work, and I wish cleaning had started after the final check-out. Still, the room was simple, clean, and perfectly adequate for the price, with AC and a flexible, easy check-in. It’s comfortably close to the airport. I was satisfied with the stay and could see myself staying again on another flight.

We needed an inexpensive place for one night because our flight arrived late, and this was fine for that: clean, comfortable enough, close to the airport, and with self check-in. It’s about a 20-minute walk. The downside was the noise, with several people arriving while we were there and making quite a lot of it. I’d recommend it for a short stay if you don’t have trouble sleeping.
