We had fresh continental breakfast on the patio when the weather allowed, and there’s a local restaurant open every evening. The hotel is spotless throughout, with clean, modern rooms. It sits on the mountainside above Lake Como, peaceful and very picturesque. The friendly couple who run it have a dog named Tommy. The drive into town takes about 15 minutes on winding roads, but they’re easy enough to navigate.

Our studio had a full kitchen and a beautiful view, and everything was clean and just right. The hosts were so nice; you can tell they want their guests to have a good time. We loved staying here. Highly recommend, 12/10!

There’s something almost dreamlike about this farm up the hill in BRENZIO village. Take a morning walk in the nearby woods, or sit with a glass of wine in the evening. You can get fresh fruit and cheese there, and Marco, the owner, is helpful and welcoming to guests. I had a great stay, and thanks to Marco for the homemade jam. The place has four-star amenities and a five-star owner.

The villa’s owner is very kind and makes honey and jams. The apartment was excellent, with a well-equipped kitchen and a view of the lake. The setting itself is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking.

The road in is tricky, and you have to walk a little to reach the lodging. The route from the other side is very narrow and exciting, though I wouldn’t want to try it in the dark or rain. There’s a freshwater spring nearby. We didn’t stay here, but had expected some farming activity. It may be an old, dilapidated farm that’s been restored into a calm, pleasant place to stay, but there was no farming and not much local produce to enjoy.
