The main disappointment was the condition of the apartment. The furniture, especially in the kitchen, was quite worn, and it wasn’t very clean. The whole complex felt neglected, and the rental photos seemed several years old and didn’t show what we found on arrival. It’s a shame, because the apartment is actually nice and has potential. A bit of investment from the owner could make it great again. The price didn’t feel right for the condition during our stay. We were in the "Gardenia" apartment in August 2020. The complex has several apartments and is generally well designed, with a pool we couldn’t use because of Covid. There are lovely beaches nearby, and Lake Como’s water was better than we expected. The property itself is in a beautiful area, with a great location and views over the lake.

The lake view is lovely, but the place didn’t seem completely clean or well maintained. Getting there from Dongo is a little complicated, though you do get used to it. For the price, I felt the value wasn’t quite there.
