The place itself is nice, but I found the owners awful to deal with. They expected a wedding to finish by 23:30. If you get married there, make sure you have a written contract. Without one, they may wreck the whole wedding by watching you the entire time and waiting for your guests to leave as soon as possible because they just want to go to bed. That's not what I'd call hospitality.

Breakfast in the garden, looking out at the Alps, was a daily treat. There was plenty to choose from, including pastries, fruit, cheeses, cake, yogurt, and eggs, so we never went hungry. Christina was a fantastic host, very helpful and accommodating. The castle is full of history, with spectacular décor, lots of art and ornaments, all in keeping with the place. Our room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and there was a reading room next door. We enjoyed the garden and grounds for the views, sunbathing, and an apertivo. It felt like staying in a home in the Alps, rather than a b&b. The setting is beautiful, and it's handy for Aosta and the Mont Blanc tunnel. Gressan also has loads of places to eat and drink.

Chateau La Tour de Villa has a magical feel, and the castle is in perfect condition. The owner was friendly and supportive. It's a lovely place for family photos and a convenient base for exploring the surrounding area. We highly recommend it if you're driving through Italy and need somewhere to stay for a night or several days.

The host was one of the nicest people I met during my time in Italy. The place itself is wonderful, with big, comfortable rooms and an amazing breakfast. I'll definitely return.
