You can taste the care and tradition in the homemade sweets and cakes. The flavors feel like they came straight from a family kitchen, with lovely textures and a real homemade touch. The whole place is warm and welcoming, so it’s easy to linger after coming in for dessert. The food feels genuine, and the atmosphere is comforting. If you’re after authentic, delicious treats and a place that feels homely, this is a must-visit.

This family-run chalet is right in the middle of the Pila ski resort, so you can just put on your skis or snowboard and head straight to the run, without driving, parking or queuing. It’s by far the best ski chalet in Italy, in my view. The staff are wonderful and friendly, and they go out of their way to make your stay special. The cakes and ice cream are homemade, and you can tell. It’s much more affordable than France, Switzerland or Austria, and much friendlier and more comfortable than Slovakia, Romania or Poland. Highly recommend it.

Secure underground parking and a spot close to the MTB park were both appreciated. The location is great, breakfast was good and so was the coffee. Everyone was extremely friendly. I’d love to return in winter during ski season.
