Borgo Savignola

I didn't used to think of myself as much of a wine drinker, but my visit to Borgo Savignola – Azienda Savignola Paolina changed that. I liked it so much I ended up shipping 12 bottles home. The family-run winery sits in the peaceful Chianti hills. From the moment we arrived, it felt like being welcomed into someone's home. We got to know the owners during our visit, and their stories, passion, and warm hospitality made the day special. The relaxed tour was informative, and the wines were outstanding, expressive and thoughtfully paired with small local bites. Lunch was delicious, with fresh Tuscan flavors that went perfectly with the wines. Bacco the puppy stole our hearts too. It was a personal, unforgettable glimpse into Tuscan life, not just a tasting. If you're near Chianti, don't miss it. Whether you already love wine or not yet, it's an experience you'll remember.

The pool was a highlight, and the views over the Tuscan hills were stunning. We spent three nights at this beautiful property, where the owners and staff were so helpful. We also did a wine tasting with lunch, which was really good. I thoroughly recommend it!

We enjoyed a lovely wine tasting even though it was raining. The wines, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar were all high quality and tasted great, and the Tuscan countryside made a beautiful setting. I hope to come back someday and spend longer in the area. Highly recommend.

We only had a little time because of our own poor planning, but they kindly fit us in for a tasting of three delicious wines. My husband and I wished we had begun our visit here and stayed longer. The views were beautiful, the owner was friendly, and there was an adorable dog too. Great wine, and I highly recommend it!
