Hotel San Gaetano

The food was a highlight for us, with carefully prepared, delicious dishes, and the hotel is spacious and top-notch, only a few meters from the sea. Our room cleanliness could have been better. Alessandro, the head entertainer, and Kevin were both first timers and still waiting for the other entertainers to arrive. They got us involved in the shows anyway and made us feel like one big family. Thanks, guys, for helping make it an unforgettable week.

The sea was gorgeous, and the location was excellent. We also really enjoyed the dining room, where the food was excellent and the waiters were kind and quick. The pool was clean and the lifeguards were excellent. It was a peaceful, fun holiday with great food, though the entertainment could have been better. Volleyball, aperitif games, quizzes, and muscle toning still kept us busy. Thanks to the management for their tips and for booking our boat trip to the Riviera dei Cedri. It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it. The rooms could have been cleaner, and the bathrooms needed more maintenance. Apart from those things, everything was perfect. The hotel was very well organized, and the manager clearly knows what they're doing. Staff were welcoming, the entertainers friendly without being pushy, and the atmosphere was really pleasant. The food was good and portions generous. The area around the hotel is beautiful, and its location is excellent. A couple of things did spoil the stay: water sometimes splashed out of the shower drains, which made noise and gave off a slight smell. I was also given a room with a broken door that could be pushed open from outside without a card. They fixed that after a few hours. I left the hotel completely satisfied.

The food was REALLY delicious. We ordered in the evening for the next day's lunch and dinner. The entertainment was GREAT too: my daughter went to play with the entertainer, my husband played beach volleyball in the morning and football in the pool in the afternoon. The rooms were spacious and tidy, with a nice look that was a little old-fashioned. They didn't clean under the bed, which wasn't great, but everywhere else was very clean. Everything else was so lovely. I really don't understand the negative reviews.
