The owners make you feel welcome, and you can tell they’re proud of this old farmhouse and its history, passed down through generations. It’s a quiet, green spot just a few kilometers from Acuì Terme and Monferrato, a chance to slow down and step back in time. The one drawback is weak cell phone reception, though that could suit anyone looking for a proper break.

We’d happily come back! Our room was really spacious, with lovely fabrics and a big, comfortable bed, and the little balcony was perfect for watching the sunset with a glass of wine. Elio, Cici and Susanna made such a fuss of us. Breakfast was delicious every morning, with fresh juice, marmalade, and eggs from their own hens cooked how we liked. The enveloppe is worth trying 😋, and there was always time for a chat.

The owners were very helpful, and parking was both convenient and secure. The house and rooms were lovely, and breakfast was good.
