We chose Marina di Alberese over the sea that’s just a few kilometers away, and the food was good almost everywhere we tried. Supermarkets are expensive, though. One short section of road is bumpy, but the rest made for a wild holiday close to nature. My family of four and I rented the largest apartment, the one with a terrace, and they even welcomed our elderly dog. We felt at ease in the countryside throughout our stay. The lady who runs the place was lovely and helpful. The house doesn’t have air conditioning, but it’s spacious and gets a good breeze. That fabulous terrace will stay in my heart for the rest of my life. What an amazing experience.

The only thing that bothered us was some rude neighbors, chatting, laughing, and joking at 7:15 in the morning as if it were broad daylight. Still, I’d highly recommend the place. It was a dream holiday in a wonderful, peaceful setting surrounded by nature. The rooms were spacious and well equipped, and the pool was lovely and always clean. I hope I can return one day. I’ll never forget the owner’s big dog, who sadly chose to leave during those days.

The owners were professional, kind, and always available, and the pool area had sun loungers and deckchairs. The property is well cared for, with spacious, well-furnished two-room apartments. We were pleasantly surprised to find bed linen, bath and kitchen towels, soap, dish soap, sugar, and coffee already provided. It’s 2.5 km from the sea and a handy five-minute drive from all the amenities.

We were so comfortable that we added another night to our stay. The owner was incredibly friendly, speaks fluent German and English, and gave us a very warm welcome. It’s a well-kept property in a beautiful setting, and the relaxed atmosphere made it easy to connect with other guests. We enjoyed cooking in the evenings in the fully equipped kitchen, then sitting on the lovely terrace outside the apartments. It also saved us money. We had fantastic weather in the middle of September and a wonderful stay.
