The staff were nice and willing to help, but there wasn't much they could do about the room. The bathroom has no ventilation, so shower steam goes straight into the bedroom and leaves the whole place at nearly 99% humidity. The smell is unforgettable. Staff told me that magic elves switch the ventilation on and off automatically, and nobody knows when they do it or how to contact them.

It's a clean, cozy place in a good spot right in the town center. Getting to the train station on a Thursday can be a hassle because the street market keeps cars out. Parking near the hotel isn't easy either, with the narrow streets.

I came from Mexico to Grosseto for a gelato course, and staying here felt like a dream. The hotel was renovated this year, and I loved its classic style. Arianna was professional throughout my week-long stay, always polite, well-groomed, and friendly. I hope she becomes Hotel Director one day.

We were in Gressetto on a business trip and had a lovely stay at the Grand Bastiani hotel. The atmosphere was very nice, and the staff were especially friendly and sweet. A big thank you again to BIANCA FROM THE REZEPTION for helping us like an angel. We needed an airport transfer as quickly as possible, and she put in so much effort, as if she were the one who might miss her flight. She was already researching the fastest, best option while we were on the phone. The two women serving breakfast were lovely too. I'd come back and recommend this beautiful place anytime.
