We and our kids loved both the food and the lovely woman who owns the place. She took time to talk us through the menu and explain how she makes things on the farm. A beautiful restaurant in Grosseto, Tuscany!

I was walking all the way from the Netherlands to Rome, and the food here was as good as it gets. I couldn't have asked for more. The hostess was very attentive and knew the food well, or showed me the ingredients when she didn't. Such a beautiful, relaxed place. Thanks so much for all the care and kindness, it means a lot.

The former farmhouse sits in the plain around Grosseto, with the hills of Uccellina Park rising right across from it. It has the feel of a small boutique hotel. I'd take a bike over the new bridge across the Ombrone River to Marina di Alberese. Definitely worth a try.

Marco and Francesca are so friendly and helpful. Under the new management, the aperitif bar serves local products, including charcuterie boards and extra virgin olive oil, alongside cocktails and wine. They have soft drinks for children too. A relaxing, authentic place for a family outing, a visit with friends, or a couple's evening. We'll be back soon!
