Dimora San Francesco

Right in the historic center, the location was excellent, and the rooms were clean and well kept. We had all the comforts we could need, including Wi-Fi. The owner was super kind and helpful, and even left water in the fridge and offered us snacks when we arrived. Nothing to complain about. Highly recommend!

We picked Suite San Francesco for its handy location as a base for exploring Puglia, since we wanted to wander around and sightsee rather than spend our time at the beach. When we arrived tired, Mrs. Vittoria welcomed us, showed us the apartment, and gave us a few directions. The home was clean, welcoming, and well organized. It had no windows to look out of, which was the one downside, but it wasn’t a big deal. Our dog Mia was well looked after and pampered too. Thanks to the apartment owner as well. Recommended.

I was very happy with the apartment I chose in the historic center of Grottaglie. The bedroom has a terrace, the bathroom is gorgeous, and the kitchen has all the comforts. Everything has been renovated in keeping with the building’s style, and it’s all beautiful and characteristic. The location is close to the center and convenient for transport. The owners are kind and attentive. Breakfast is included at a lovely café in the center, where the staff are friendly and efficient, and the coffee and croissants are very good. I’ve just returned from Puglia and think I’ll be back soon, choosing Dimora San Francesco again.

We found the steep, narrow stairs up to our second-floor room pretty uncomfortable, and breakfast at a nearby café was very limited. The interiors were clean and modern, though they didn’t have much character. The location was the real plus, right in the historic center near the main square and ceramics district. A decent stay, but the quality felt a bit high for the price.
