The constant check-ins made it hard to feel at ease. I come to a B&B for the quiet of being at home, but here the owner kept popping in, and it started to feel like I was bothering her. She seemed grumpy and unwelcoming, and even toiletries were only provided if I asked. The rooms were cleaned every other day. The accommodation is on the second floor with no elevator, so don’t expect help from the owner if you arrive with a large suitcase. I’m giving one star because I can’t give less. Maybe this isn’t the right job for her.

Breakfast was plentiful and good, and the place is right in central Grottammare, just behind the seafront. Parking is easy to find too. Everything was clean and well organized. Just be aware that it’s on the second floor, which could be difficult if you have trouble with stairs. Highly recommended.
