La finestra sul mare

Grottammare is a beautiful village, and this apartment worked perfectly for us when we wanted to escape the crowds and explore the area. We chose between the beach and nearby villages depending on our mood, and even went a little farther afield. The apartment is in a very characteristic house, with sea views on one side and the entrance road on the other. It’s clean, including the linens, and has a large closet and plenty of equipment, from a hairdryer to a dishwasher. It would suit a longer stay as well as a weekend. The ground-floor entrance can be a little misleading, but the apartment’s armored door is upstairs on the second floor. The secondary entrance to the Borgo is the best way to reach it, though the village is so small this isn’t much of a problem. A beach umbrella spot at a nearby chalet is included. You can get there by bike, but we preferred the car because the climb is difficult. Be aware that the stairs make this unsuitable for elderly people or anyone with mobility difficulties.
