Agriturismo Pianezze

It's clean in general, but the room had bedbugs, ants, and spiders. When breakfast runs out, management is rarely around, and on arrival it's unclear who you're meant to ask. Such a shame, since the place could be nice with more care put into the details and decor.

The location is the only real plus. The management felt very hands-off, and the room wasn't entirely clean. I was also concerned by lamps plugged into double outlet extension cords, which seemed dangerous. The room opens straight onto the garden, and coming back late means walking into a dark place. Wi-Fi is switched off in the evening and only comes back at 6:30, so guests and phones are left without coverage. There's no phone in the room either, which leaves you completely cut off from the outside world. The manager wasn't welcoming and may ask for cash payment. I won't stay here again and strongly advise against it.

For anyone wanting to get away from the city bustle, this farmhouse is a good option, especially if you love nature and quiet. The sounds of the stream and birds are beautiful. I just got back from Pianezze farmhouse on Lake Bolsena, which is well placed for visiting Lazio and Tuscany. Pietro, the owner, is very helpful and attentive to every need. Thanks to Pietro and the staff.

There were six of us, but we were given only three cups. The breakfast was poor, with discount brand packaged items, which was astonishing. The accommodation itself is basic, with mismatched linens and furnishings that show little taste. The bathroom has no window or bidet. The place doesn't feel welcoming, much like the owner, and it certainly isn't that cheap. A thoroughly negative experience.
