A lovely setting near Grotticelle beach, and an older hotel that’s been well maintained. But avoid rooms 20 and 21 if you want to sleep well: the air conditioning unit right above the window is noisy at night. We told the staff, but they couldn’t, or wouldn’t, fix it.

The rooms were clean and practical, and the food was great at every meal. The staff were very friendly, and we were happy the whole time. Great location, too.

The food was top notch, and the welcome was the best I’ve had at a hotel. It exceeded my expectations.

We had pasta with porcini mushrooms, lamb, and house wine, and both the food and prices were very good. The restaurant is open from 7 pm and welcomes people who aren’t staying at the hotel too. It has a very pleasant, family-run feel. The owner speaks good German, served everyone on her own, and was very friendly. Her father even treated us to sweet wine. Perhaps the best dining recommendation in Capo Vaticano.
