Enza was very friendly and helpful, and the next morning she served us breakfast. Her homemade pastries and cappuccino may have been the best I've ever had. The place itself is clean, modern, new, and spacious, with plenty of parking. It's about a half-hour drive from the beach and nearby towns. I'd rate it 9.5 out of 10. The beds were comfortable, apart from the small one my son slept in. I 100% recommend this place!

Mrs. Enza deserves special mention. She was wonderfully kind and helpful, and her warm welcome made the stay even better. After walking the Via Lucana on the Cammino Materano, we stopped in Grottole at the lovely Nido delle Rondini. Enza greeted us warmly and paid close attention to what we needed. I was there for work. The room in the historic center was spacious and beautiful, and it had a large bathroom. It was very well finished, with complimentary toiletries and enough for a quick breakfast.

Enza really looked after us, even taking care of our tiny travel wardrobe. For hikers, that alone deserves five stars! She also made us a hearty breakfast with local products, another highlight for hikers. I was walking the Via Lucana with four friends, and we were welcomed into a lovely, well-kept, clean, and inviting place. Highly recommended, even if you're not hiking!
