PeR is a special little place, run by wonderful people. Tucked into the green Umbrian hills, it's a peaceful oasis where you can relax completely and take in the beauty of nature. I volunteered at PeR in August 2017 and had an amazing experience. I'd highly recommend visiting as a guest, volunteer, or participant in one of their really interesting courses or workshops. I'll definitely return!

Such a cool spot.

The woods around it make for a beautiful natural setting, and there are no crowds to spoil the quiet. The place is an interesting look at self-sufficiency and self-production in practice, with simple but comfortable hospitality. The rooms are lovely, the beds really comfortable, and the vegetarian food is excellent. There's a small, charming pool that runs on rainwater and solar panels. Just be aware the wide dirt road stretches for over a kilometer and isn't suitable for sports cars.

We really enjoyed our stay in the quiet forest, where there were no crowds and it was easy to unwind. The place is more rustic than the photos make it look, but coming with the right spirit makes it a real pleasure. Our room was clean and spacious, breakfast was plentiful and hearty, and the vegetarian dinner was delicious. Thank you.
