Locanda del Gallo

Our week-long retreat at Locanda was deeply restorative and inspiring. Paola and her staff made us feel at home, almost like part of the family, and the food was divine. The spa was a wonderful bonus, too. It’s hard to imagine a more authentic and beautiful Italian stay. I left wanting to return again and again. Thank you, Paola and the Locanda staff, for an amazing week.

The setting is gorgeous, with sweeping views of the valley and mountains and beautifully kept grounds. Our kids could run around outside while we enjoyed a delicious four-course dinner in the lovely dining room. The food and service were both fantastic. Ty was especially kind with the children and even brought us umbrellas when it started raining as we walked to the car. We had a beautiful evening and would absolutely recommend it.

I came here to relax, switch off, and reconnect, and that’s exactly what happened. The staff are sincere and flexible, and the food is delicious enough to please even the pickiest eater. The 360° views are stunning. There’s so much to enjoy, from the pool, spa, and trails to quiet corners around the grounds and a yoga studio. The place offers plenty of ways to experience the local culture, too. It all exceeded my expectations. Bless you, Paola and team, and a thousand thanks.

We held a business retreat at Locanda Del Gallo, and the experience was excellent. The facilities were beautiful and well cared for, and the staff handled all our needs with ease, including the group’s many dietary requirements. Paola also arranged an excursion and made the details simple for us. I’d highly recommend LDG for a visit or group retreat, and I’ll definitely be back.
