Otherwise, the place is modern and clean, but the night was extremely cold. The room couldn't be heated, and the mattress was poor. We asked the owner for a second blanket because the autumn weather was cool, but she had only planned one duvet for the double room and refused when we asked for another. The owners were so unfriendly that we can't recommend Residenza via Piccardi.

The apartment was recently renovated and furnished with good taste. Its location is great, breakfast was good, and it offered excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

The location made getting around easy, since we could walk to everything in central Gubbio. Our room was roomy, clean, and smelled fresh. The woman who runs the place was professional and kind, and gave us useful advice about parking and places to eat. Breakfast was simple but good. We stayed Saturday and Sunday, and would recommend it.

Federica made us feel at home, with a warm, friendly welcome that felt almost like being part of the family. Our second-floor room was spacious, warm, clean, and comfortable. The B&B is an intimate, cozy place right in central Gubbio, handy for the town's attractions. We stayed over Christmas and loved it. I'd gladly come back.
