The apartment has everything needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of storage, with a spacious wardrobe in the bedroom and a chest of drawers in the living room. Outside, there are comfortable loungers and a table with chairs. It’s right on the beach and close to the start of the tourist trails. Guests can also use the pool and recreation areas at the campsite in Vantone. There was loud music from a nearby bar on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We got a nice bottle of wine as a parting gift and will definitely return.

The location is absolutely perfect, and it’s just how I picture Italy on Lake Idro: incredibly beautiful and simple. The amenities are great too. The only issue for us was the small refrigerator, since we needed to keep lots of drinks cold in 30-degree heat.

From the upstairs room, the view was breathtaking. The apartment is rustic and simply furnished, and you can set off on lots of hikes and climbing routes right from the house. The easy Ferrata Sasse via ferrata starts there too. I’d recommend having a bicycle to explore the area.

The location and view are fantastic, and parking was easy to find nearby, even in peak season. There are four apartments, though the parking at the house only fits three cars. The nearby kiosk sometimes played fairly loud music late into the night, partly from guests’ cars, so early sleepers might find the noise annoying.
