BB Domus Vista

The terrace was really nice and useful, and the room was clean. We could walk easily into the center of Iglesias from this great location. The owner was kind and helpful, and breakfast had plenty to choose from, both sweet and savory, with fresh food and homemade cakes. A perfect stay.

The B&B is only a few minutes from the town center, where there are lovely shops, and it's also a good base for the "Cammino di Santa Barbara" (St. Barbara's Path). The view of the Pisan walls and medieval Iglesias was magnificent. We had the attic room, smaller than the others but charmingly furnished, and felt very comfortable there. B&B Domus Vista gave us a warm welcome: Marie and her husband shared all the information we needed. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the relaxed atmosphere and pleasant chats with the owner made us feel at ease. She speaks excellent English and Danish as well as Italian. From our air-conditioned attic room, we had a lovely view over the city and the old walls. Breakfast runs from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m., with fresh fruit salad, yogurt, cake, croissants, toast, and coffee. Salami or cheese is available if you ask, and there's a guest refrigerator for drinks. The hosts are very friendly. There are some excellent restaurants in the old town. I'd recommend a guided tour of the Minera di San Giovanni and a visit to the beach at Plagemesu.
