Le Piemontesine

Charlotte, Jerome and their team gave us such a warm, professional welcome, and the suite was spacious, attractive and really comfortable. We loved being able to ask plenty of questions about Jerome's degustation menu and the wines Charlotte paired with it. Both were delicious. The hotel and restaurant are in magnificent surroundings, and the whole stay was superb from beginning to end. We still can't travel from Australia, unfortunately, but we'll be back. Hope everyone is safe and sound.

That 4.6 Google rating had us expecting a good lunch, but the experience was even better than expected. We'd driven from Fossano, and it became one of the best lunches of our trip. We started with an aperitif on the garden patio, looking over the valley, then went inside for very well-executed Italian food with a French influence. The hospitality, food and wine were excellent. Our bottle of Barbaresco was rated 94/100 by Larner and cost 38 Euros. The tart tartin was to die for. We'll return for dinner on our next trip to Italy. The whole experience was motto bene!

The garden with its fruit trees is lovely. If you're driving through the Langhe area, don't miss this place. The restaurant serves very good French food and regional wine, and there's a b&b too.
