The staff tried to help with requests like vegetarian meals or bigger appetizer portions, and the location is fairly central. The roller blind also helped cut down the sound of cars outside late at night. But the noise from other guests came straight through the walls, and the room itself was in terrible shape. The bathroom door wouldn't lock, the toilet kept flushing, the shower was patched up with duct tape, and there was a hole in the window. Our room was small, and some people in our group said their tap water was brown. We didn't have that problem, but I'd only use the water for the toilet or shower. We booked meals with the hotel. Breakfast was basic but edible; dinner was much harder to get through. The appetizers were okay, while the meat was rubbery, bland, and far too salty, and the sides were swimming in oil. The staff did their best, but the food still made for a disappointing stay. The lobby looked decent when we arrived, and our room was somewhat clean, but the condition of the place felt like an insult to guests. For our class trip, Hotel Robinia Imperia was a complete disgrace. I'd give it one star if not for the helpful staff and central location. It came close to feeling like a scam.

The staff were kind and attentive, and the sea view was stunning. It's about a five-minute walk to the beach, and the hotel is nicely situated. The rooms are dated, though that fits the city's atmosphere. The bathroom is tiny and could use renovation, but it was manageable for a short stay.

The hotel is in a great location, but the rooms are awful, especially on the street side where the traffic noise is horrible. We asked to move, and the administration avoided speaking with us and put us in another room on the same side. As part of a group, we got a very poor breakfast: other guests could choose, while we were seated with bread and cheese already on the table. The coffee was basically colored water. We won't come back.

The breakfast was embarrassing: one stale bun and some lukewarm brownish water passed off as coffee, brought to the table by a waiter. The owner was unfriendly, the staff rude, and it felt like nobody took pride in the work. We stayed many years ago, and it was the most pathetic place we've ever experienced. Judging by the owner's replies to reviews, I can tell little has changed. I feel sorry for them and wish them well, but a lot needs to improve.

The staff took our clothes from the room and denied doing it. They were the only ones with a key to get in. They vaguely promised to pay us back for the clothes, but never did, so we had to report the theft to the police. Don't stay there.
