The bed was comfortable, the place was clean, and there’s a nice view of the hills. I could cook in the small kitchen, which had enough utensils to make it easy. A dry breakfast was provided for free. I really enjoyed staying here and would like to come back.

I’ve spent six nights in different places around Tuscany now, and this is the best one. The garden and pool sit right beside olive fields, and they’re fabulous. The house wine and olive oil are available to buy at reception. Our room was really an apartment, with a kitchenette and sofa. It was very clean, the sheets smelled lovely, and the bed was the most comfortable I’ve found in Italy this past week. For breakfast, there were cakes and cookies, plus juice, milk, yoghurt, and coffee capsules. Salt and pepper were there too. The house is old and rustic, which is its whole charm. Even walking into the hallway, you get that lovely old-wood smell. The owners are extremely friendly, and the place is nicely situated just south of Florence and near the Chianti area. Highly recommended.

The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms feel comfortable and homey. It’s close enough to the city if you have a car, and the value is GREAT. I’ll definitely come back.

After a day visiting the surrounding villages, the pool is a real treat for relaxing. The view is a bonus, too. It’s a small but comfortable apartment with the basics, an authentic feel, and a kind hostess. The kitchen is useful, and we cooked dinner there.
