The property is quite beautiful from the outside, and the unit was clean and simple, with no frills. Fabrizia welcomed us warmly at the B&B, was kind and informative, and suggested places to visit in the city. Our biggest problem was the mosquitoes. There were no fly screens on any of the windows, and the room was infested. My travel partner and I each left with 15-20 bites, and it was very uncomfortable trying to sleep through three days of that. The location works better if you have a car or don’t plan to go into the city centre every day. Google Maps says the bus takes 15 minutes, but it doesn’t actually reach this stop. The real bus journey is more like 30-35 minutes, if it’s on time. There’s no laundry, breakfast, or amenities at the accommodation or nearby.

The rooms are very clean, and the whole property has been put together with a lot of care. The hosts, Federica and her husband, are wonderful and very helpful. It’s a great location close to Firenze, with the bus stop right in front of the accommodation and a 15-minute bus ride into town. I’d recommend it to everyone.

We arrived fairly late and hadn’t booked, but the host welcomed us warmly and even set up a baby bed. They also called ahead to book us a table at the excellent trattoria within walking distance. The place looked just as lovely as the photos, and the host was so kind. We slept well in a comfortable, air-conditioned room, then had a filling breakfast in the garden. We left ready for the last stretch of our journey, with the autostrada just around the corner. Thanks for having us. We’ll definitely return.

A really handy base for a day in Florence. The host was lovely and shared all sorts of useful tips. Florence is less than 15 minutes away by bus.
