The views were breathtaking, the place was very clean, and the people were friendly and informative. But breakfast never included fresh bread or eggs, and on two mornings we had to wait to get a decent cup of tea. After coming back from the cold, nobody offered us a hot drink, and there was no way to make tea or coffee in the room. I wouldn't recommend eating there, as it didn't feel worth the price.

Antonella was a lovely hostess, and the rooms were cute. I really enjoyed her cooking!

Breakfast and dinner were served in the garden, a lovely way to start and end the day. Breakfast was generous and varied, with Antonella's homemade jams, croissants, biscuits, schiacciata with grapes, and bruschetta made with tomatoes Sandro had grown with care. The bruschetta was delicious, and I had the best omelette I've ever tasted. There was yogurt, cold cuts, fresh fruit including lovely figs, and cappuccino so good I’ve never had anything like it. Dinner was just as abundant, with traditional Tuscan food from appetizers through dessert. We had tagliatelle with wild boar, peposo di Impruneta, pappa al pomodoro, ribollita, and a sublime Florentine steak prepared right in front of us and served with beans and green beans. Antonella made everything, including the tasty liqueurs and excellent meringue. The meals were a real threat to your figure! The property is quiet and great for recharging, with easy bus access to Florence. It's also near the highway for Siena, close to the Chianti wine road, and has excellent parking. Our welcoming room was spotless and carefully maintained, with a terrace overlooking a breathtaking view, a very large bathroom with every comfort, and an incredibly comfortable bed. The pool was lovely and the sunbathing area really spacious. Antonella and Sandro are kind, accommodating hosts. They made us feel like family, along with their three beautiful dogs and two gorgeous cats, all happy to give and get cuddles.

We stayed three nights, and by the end, a hug felt like the only way to say goodbye to Antonella. She has such a warm smile and good humor, takes care of you, and makes you feel at home. She's a wonderful hostess and a fantastic cook, too. We enjoyed delicious traditional food, and she told us the story behind each dish and how to make it. The room was comfortable, with lovely views over the Tuscan countryside. Florence is only a short drive away, so it was easy to explore the area around this beautiful city. I wholeheartedly recommend this B&B. Top marks, and we’ll definitely be back.
