Relais Villa Olmo

The rooms are quiet and the beds are comfortable, and we really enjoyed the restaurant and the informative, delicious wine tour. The staff were attentive and kind. When I had a 4 AM flight, they even packed me breakfast the night before without me asking. It was lovely being able to visit Florence without staying in the busy tourist city. We’re hoping to return soon.

Breakfast was one of the best we had in Italy, and the on-site restaurant was very good too. The rooms were pleasant and kept very clean, with a lovely view over the Tuscan hills toward Impruneta, just a short walk away. The bus to Florence isn’t very regular, so keep that in mind for day trips. We still had a lovely time in the hills and managed one trip into the city. Other guests recommended the wine and olive oil tour, though we didn’t get to go. A lovely romantic hotel for couples. Bike hire can also be arranged.

We loved the view from our garden suite and having a private terrace. The bed was so comfortable, and the staff were wonderful. Breakfast was a light continental spread, just right for lazy mornings before going out to explore. Parking was convenient and it was easy to walk into town. My husband and I had a wonderful four days, and both said we’d return here without hesitation. It was one of the most relaxing stays we’ve had.

My little son and I loved this place, especially the lovely staff. Silvia and the woman serving breakfast in the morning are real gems. The hotel is stunning and very child friendly, with beautiful views, a pool, garden, little restaurant and bar. There’s also a lovely village nearby with cute shops and a Saturday market. Such a classy countryside escape from the city. We’ll definitely come back!
