Villa Verganti Veronesi

Ivan was the highlight of our stay, an absolute gentleman who went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Ivan and Ilaria both gave us a warm welcome. The villa is full of antiques and fine art, and the gardens, pool, sports area, and secure parking are lovely. Breakfast was great, with fresh coffee, juice, pastries, cakes, and savory options. It’s in a charming town with good amenities, close to Milan Malpensa Airport. Villa Verganti Veronesi is a real gem. We’d definitely come back and recommend it.

We booked the second most expensive option, a deluxe room with a garden view, but were given the cheapest business-class room with a street view and weak AC. The staff were unpleasant and unavailable, and wouldn’t admit they’d made a mistake. Instead, they acted passive-aggressively and tried to blame and belittle us. Friends of ours had booked a cheaper room but received the right one, which was nicer. Other guests have said the same, too. It felt very unserious and unprofessional, as if they only cared about our money. We also found blood and dark yellow stains on the bedding, though the bathroom was fresh and the garden was nice. We stayed for two nights while considering this place for our upcoming wedding, but it’s far away and the area felt unsafe; other guests have mentioned that as well. I wouldn’t recommend it. DO NOT RECOMMEND

The woman looking after the mansion and rooms was friendly, helpful, and even booked a restaurant for us, choosing well. She also suggested taking the metro to Milaan, which worked like a charm. Breakfast was good and we could eat it out on the terrace. The mansion itself is beautiful and officially historic, with a clean, nice room, a little private balcony, and a large shower. The big pool is fully equipped with loungers and shade. We’d definitely return.

There’s a lot to enjoy here, including a pool table, tennis court, and a pool where I could always find a free sunbed. The building is beautiful and old, the staff are welcoming, and breakfast has a good spread. Our room was spacious, with a very nice modern bathroom. It’s a lovely setting for a wedding, and just a short walk from central Inveruno and its great local restaurants. Milan and the airport are close too. I’d love to come back!
