We ended up here after the other hotel overbooked. The breakfast was really good, though the older man hosting it wasn’t very welcoming. The rooms were small, and the air conditioning only ran for a couple of short periods, 7-9 pm and 11 pm-1 am. With the windows open, bugs came inside, and the family living downstairs could get quite loud.

For a cheap stay in Ischia, this hotel worked well for us. We paid €200 for a room for four in mid-September. It was clean, though there’s no luxury or long list of amenities. The area around Ischia Ponte is lovely, with little streets and shops that give it a real Mediterranean holiday feel, and the wonderful old Aragonese Castle is nearby. We were happy with our choice.

Our superior double was comfortable, with a very comfy bed and a terrace, though the terrace was shared. I’d suggest adding some shelves in the bathroom. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive to everything we needed. Breakfast leaned toward sweets, including delicious homemade items, but there were savory choices too. The place was clean and welcoming, about a kilometer from Aragonese Castle and roughly two kilometers from the port. There’s a bus stop just a few meters away, which made getting around easy.

The owners were so kind and made us feel at home, always there if we needed anything. We had a wonderful stay, with a hearty breakfast and a great location. We’ll definitely come back.
