We paid €15 each for day access to the pools and beach, although the website listed €10 when I checked afterward. We didn’t stay at the hotel or eat there. The showers are mandatory before using the pools and cost another €3 after you’ve paid entry. Most of the loungers were broken, and the restaurant is only open from 1 to 2 p.m. You can’t bring your own food or drinks into the complex. The so-called thermal pools were small, murky, and barely warm. They smelled of rust, and my fiancée’s swimsuit turned red. They looked nothing like the website photos. The whole place felt old and a bit sad. It’s in a lovely spot and has plenty of potential, but it fell short of what we expected.

The balcony view of the Aragonese Castle was a postcard scene every morning, and the nearby beach and clear Tyrrhenian Sea made each day feel special. I spent 10 unforgettable days here and would gladly come back. The thermal waters were a lovely part of relaxing at the hotel. The property was spotless, from the room to the pool area. Everyone we met was warm and attentive, including the administrator, receptionists, room cleaners, and the people looking after the gardens and thermal pools. We felt at home. The food was another highlight, with delicious traditional Italian dishes that captured the flavors of the region. This hotel brings together comfort, natural beauty, and Italian hospitality, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to travelers looking for an authentic, restful holiday in Ischia.

The view is amazing, and being able to get to the sea is a real plus. Still, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The rooms have furniture that looks about 20 years old, and the service was poor and rude. We got just one key for a double or triple room. It seemed like the owner was trying to save money on air conditioning. At breakfast, they counted how much water you drank and complained about everything. Stay away if you’re looking for a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

The rooms are basic but clean, and the views are lovely. Things were fine until we had to deal with management. Several interactions left us feeling unwelcome and uncared for, and made it hard to recommend the place. Bring your own iron if you might need one. I wanted to press a shirt before a wedding, but the hotel didn’t have an iron. When I asked, they treated me like an alien. It wasn’t a language problem, they understood and just didn’t care. The kind man at the hotel next door offered to iron my shirt for free, even though I wasn’t his guest.

The location and views are great, and the price was good too. We found the hospitality very good. A room with a balcony and ocean view is the best choice. A lovely spot for an authentic Italian hotel stay.
