I’m really unhappy with this stay. We paid a lot and expected much better, but the staff’s unfriendliness made the whole experience worse. The owner was rude from the start, kept making rude comments as we passed through the lobby, and was rude and racist again after charging us an extra €30 at checkout. The pool looked dirty, and I never saw anyone use it. Our room had ants everywhere, and the sheets, which had burn holes, weren’t changed during our 7-day stay. The pillows were extremely thin and uncomfortable. He ruined the holiday for us from the beginning. Someone who shows so little basic respect and kindness shouldn’t be in charge of a hotel.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was nicely relaxed. It’s a lovely hotel, conveniently placed near both the port and the town centre.

We didn’t enjoy our stay. From the moment we arrived, the owner spoke to us rudely and disrespectfully. He was racist as well.

I really liked the owner and found him genuinely lovely. I’d disagree with anyone who calls him intrusive or out of place. He was friendly and helpful, and even during my short stay he made a lasting impression on me. The hotel is very conveniently located, just a few minutes on foot from the port and beside the bus terminus. Buses run until late, so you can explore the whole island without a car. Breakfast was a little sparse, but the waitress was very kind and ready to help with anything we asked, at breakfast or dinner. The home-style food was simple, tasty, and not heavy.
