Villa Livia

Getting engaged in Ischia was already a huge moment for us, and the staff surprised us with a complimentary bottle of wine in our room to celebrate. That thoughtful gesture added to a trip we’ll always remember. The villa felt peaceful and tucked away among lemon trees beside the terrace, but it was still close to what we needed. Having private scooter parking made exploring easy, too. The view of the Aragonese Castle from the front porch is stunning, whether we had coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. Staff were friendly and attentive, always available in person or on WhatsApp without hovering. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, though we would have liked a little more protein. With its quiet setting, Italian charm, and warm service, Villa Livia made for a romantic stay. We hope to see that view again.

They were so helpful with whatever we needed, and the breakfast was wonderful. We had an amazing stay and would give it a 10/10 recommendation.

The sea and castle on the neighboring island kept us looking out at the view. We rented Villa Livia for our wedding on the island, and the setting was spectacular. The hosts were kind and helpful throughout our stay. We hope we can come back soon.

The common area at the front has the stunning view shown in the photos, and the rooms were really nice. Ours looked out over the back of the property and the lemon trees. One night, though, the Wi-Fi unit mounted on our ceiling let in quite a bit of light, despite the attempt to cover it. Breakfast was generous, mostly tasty pastries and fruit, though short on protein. They left the fruit and leftover pastries covered in the hall for guests to snack on during the day, which was great, especially on a budget. The hotel is easy to find and conveniently located. Yoga and Pilates are available, but at €25 per person per session, they cost more than we expected. I’m not sure how long the sessions are, though I imagine the view is part of the appeal. We were uncomfortable when we saw staff setting up the front area for what looked like a private baby shower. It’s the only outdoor place to sit, use the pool, or relax together. Guests weren’t told about it. No one said we couldn’t use the space, but it felt awkward to walk into an intimate Italian party, and a bit cheeky of the hotel. Apart from that, the service was great in every way.
