Camping del Sole - Chalet 6

We stayed in a Mobile Home over Easter and had a great time. The weather was lovely, and the kids had plenty of freedom to run around, visit the playground, and go down to the lake, even though the water was freezing. The apartment was very clean and had AC to help with the temperature. Sheets were included, while towels could be rented if needed. There’s a mini market on site, and two supermarkets are about a 10-minute walk away. The staff were super nice too.

I rarely leave reviews, but the owner's/manager's arrogance and failure to understand simple written messages left me feeling I had to speak up. The service was disappointing: my messages and requests during the stay weren't answered properly, and afterward there were repeated attempts to get me to change my rating. It seems only five-star reviews are welcome here. I've traveled hundreds of times around the world and never had this kind of trouble borrowing an iron or hairdryer. Reception told me to buy my own iron from a local shop, where the cheapest option was around €80, with no alternatives in such a small town. My request had received no response. Only after two days was I “kindly” offered a hairdryer in exchange for a deposit. I didn't mind paying a deposit, but nobody had offered to rent me one at check-in. By then, either my shirt hadn't dried properly or my hair was still wet when I left for a morning meeting. I eventually became ill and took a 14-day course of antibiotics. We also had to completely change the second part of our stay in Italy. The accommodation has lower ratings on every review site, and I'm not surprised. Some people have to hit rock bottom before they recognize their mistakes.

We’ve camped here several times and always found it beautiful, whether staying in a tent or caravan. This Easter we rented a chalet, and it was perfect again. The site is very clean, and the employees are kind and helpful.

A really beautiful place, and the staff were very polite. I had booked five days but needed to leave one day early. I let them know two days beforehand, and was surprised they wouldn't offer any refund. Otherwise, it was a beautiful stay.
