The breakfasts were a real highlight, freshly made each morning with things from Filippo’s garden, and he’s a fantastic cook. He also knows the island well and helped us choose beaches based on the weather, along with ideas like exploring by e-bike or boat. We stayed a few nights at Casa Giovanna in the comfortable, clean Pertuso room and had a great time. We’d recommend it and plan to come back to Giglio.

Filippo was lovely, discreet, and easy to reach whenever we needed help. He even took us out by boat to see the whole island, and e-bikes are available to rent too. The apartment was clean and well equipped, and breakfast was amazing. One of the best places we’ve stayed. Grazie mille per tutto, Filipo. ❤️

Filippo, thanks, we’ll be back! This little hotel feels new, and it’s cozy and clean. The owner clearly puts a lot of passion into it. You’re right by the beach, with the bus stop just around the corner.

Filippo is young and full of great ideas, and he personally serves a spectacular breakfast. The rooms are roomy, modern, recently renovated, and kept clean and tidy. You’re just three steps from the sea, with a fish restaurant, a pizzeria, and bakeries selling tasty local specialties a minute away on foot. Five stars don’t seem like enough. This is the one place on the island we’d happily return to.

He went out of his way to make our two-day stay feel special, and even handled problems outside regular hours with a can-do attitude. A wonderfully committed, helpful host, and a fabulous cook too.
