The host was really nice and always available. From the second-floor flat, the view is beautiful, and the terrace is great for relaxing or having a meal. The kitchen could be better equipped for cooking, and there isn’t even a coffee machine. There’s only one wardrobe for hanging clothes, with no drawers, and the internet connection isn’t good.

A friendly place in a great spot for enjoying Palermo, close to the sea.

The three of us, my wife, son, and I, could have stayed for months. We felt completely at home, and leaving at the end of the holiday was harder than we expected. Francesco’s B&B is the most beautiful in the area and has every comfort. The location is enchanting, and Francesco’s kindness and helpfulness make it even more special. Highly recommended!

We were there in October, and Francesco was an excellent host. It was a fantastic experience. Special thanks to Rosy, the cleaner.

Casa Matilde looks out over the fishing port, where the morning fish market sells the day’s catch. The accommodation is comfortable and clean, with brand new finishes, and Francesco and the staff are warm, attentive, and ready to help with any need. It’s a unique place to stay in Isola delle Femmine, in a simple seaside village where you get a taste of real Sicilian life and the area’s characteristic warmth and hospitality. It’s close to the airport for a short stay, and Palermo Cathedral and the historic center are just 25 minutes away for a longer visit. We’ll be back soon. Thanks for the hospitality, and ciao, Sicily. Enjoy your stay!
