Beautiful.

The entertainment team kept us busy and having fun all day, with things like morning exercise, sports tournaments, aperitif games, baby dance, karaoke, music and dancing. Even though there were just two of us, they were always there, especially Roberto, the super team leader, who handled everything with professionalism and enthusiasm. The waiters and bar staff were also friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. It's a small, intimate resort with a lovely pool and, above all, a stunning beach. The entertainment staff really made the stay enjoyable and kept us company throughout the day.

The entertainment staff were the one bright spot. They were professional, energetic and engaging, and managed to create a pleasant atmosphere despite all the problems. The rooms were dated, had humidity issues, and the air conditioning often broke, making it hard to sleep. There was no Wi-Fi in the rooms, and cleanliness in both the rooms and bathrooms wasn't up to expectations. Food was mediocre and limited in variety, and the all-inclusive plan only covered certain products chosen by the resort, at certain times. The common areas weren't especially well maintained either. The pool seemed neglected, with too little chlorine and too few sun loungers. The beach service was the worst part: we found out the resort's beach didn't really exist, and one day the coast guard removed the umbrellas because they'd been placed illegally on public land. That made the beach service frustrating and unacceptable. Zeta Club Baia dei Gigli needs a thorough overhaul in both facilities and service management. Despite the entertainment staff's efforts, we wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, high-quality holiday.

We came expecting an all-inclusive stay with food, bar, pool, beach service, entertainment, sports and time to relax. From the first day, almost none of what was promised matched what we found. The resort was a huge disappointment, and we left feeling cheated, bitter and angry. The food was low-quality, often cold, reheated, and sometimes inedible. We never felt we were eating anything fresh or well prepared. Our rooms were only superficially cleaned, with hair, sand, dust and dirt marks left around. The manager denied responsibility and tried to cover things up. After we complained, he quickly fixed the pool, called a lifeguard and took "fake" photos of fake entertainment to make it look better. The pool had been dirty and dangerous, with no lifeguard until a child nearly drowned. The beach service was basically nonexistent, with restricted hours for going down to the beach. Sunbeds and umbrellas were set up at the last minute by the entertainment staff, who had to run back and forth like porters. The supposedly all-inclusive plan was a complete scam: at checkout we got a long list of extra charges, including things we hadn't asked for. Even coffee cost extra. They also organized a 5-hour boat trip for €20 per person. We were up at dawn and ready to go, but at 7:30 a.m. they knocked on our doors and said the boat had "suddenly broken down" and the trip was canceled. They refunded us, but the organization still showed a total lack of reliability and seriousness. From 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM everything was shut down, no music or activities, just forced silence like in a nursing home. For a tourist village, that much inactivity is absurd. Only four entertainers were there for the whole resort, with no program, resources or support. They did their best, but there was almost no entertainment because of the disorganization. We ended up making our own games and improvised evenings with other guests to keep from being bored. The resort needs a complete overhaul. Absolutely not recommended. I give it one star because zero isn't possible.
