The breakfast servers were the only real positive and are the reason I gave two stars. Otherwise, it would have been one star at best. There was a cockroach in the kitchen two days before we left. I regret not taking a photo. We were charged 60 euros to use the towels and bed sheets, which has never happened to us on previous holidays. When we objected, they said we didn’t have to pay, but they would take the towels and bedding away. The receptionist said, “This is Italy and things work differently here.” During our 10 days, nobody changed the sheets or towels or cleaned the apartment. There wasn’t even a broom or mop for us to clean up ourselves.
