The owner was the best part of our stay. He was kind and accommodating, shared lots of useful information, and helped us have a nice time. Knowing our ferry left late, he let us stay a bit longer at no extra charge. He also sells great products made with lemons and sesame seeds from the farm. Our room was nice and newly remodeled, and it was good to have mosquito nets. The property was quiet overall, though there were some roosters, which were quiet at night. Breakfast was minimal, and the coffee seemed instant, but you can get coffee at a nearby bar. The internet didn’t seem to work consistently, though that’s normal in the Italian countryside.

We stayed at this beautiful farmhouse in early October and, despite the time of year, ended up having a fantastic, summery holiday. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with lovely Sicilian furnishings. Mr. Michele welcomed us so kindly and made us feel at home, providing everything we needed to enjoy our stay and the property. The farmhouse is 1 km from the sea at Santa Maria del Focallo, with its enchanting 8 km beach, naturally within view of Villa Giannina. Mornings were a treat, with typical Sicilian breakfast items, many of them homemade. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back.

The location made it easy to get to the sea and visit Noto, Modica, and Ragusa, with plenty of places to eat in Ispica and Pozzallo less than a 10-minute drive away. We found the stay great value compared with similar properties nearby. Mr. Michele was happy to point us toward good places, and Mr. Michele and Mrs. Rosalba looked after us so thoughtfully. Their almond granitas and cream-filled cannoli were a lovely way to start the day. Our room was roomy, quiet, spotless, and comfortable, with working Wi-Fi and air conditioning. It was cleaned daily, and towels were changed when we asked. A truly beautiful place. Highly recommended.

We had breakfast outdoors on the patio, with delicious fresh produce from the area, and the owners were very kind and helpful. The room and bathroom were spacious, well equipped, and spotless. Set among citrus groves and centuries-old olive trees, the property is wonderfully quiet, in the countryside between Ispica and Pozzallo and only a few minutes by car from the sea. A lovely place to slow down and relax.
