Hotel Mirage

Stefano, the manager, was kind and looked after the guests well. We liked the location, about 270 metres from the beach and right beside a bus stop, and the price was reasonable. Our room was cleaned daily and the shared areas were clean too. Breakfast was a decent Italian-style one, so if you know what to expect here, it won’t disappoint. The black cat was lovely. The weak internet was the one drawback, though we didn’t come just to use WiFi.

We had amazing food, and the beach was close by. Our room was cleaned every day. The owner was a very kind, patient man, and the rest of the staff were just as kind. I’d recommend this place to everyone!

Dinner and lunch were served at such strict times that if you missed the slot, they left you without food, even when you had small children. Breakfast was the same every day: cheap ham and cheese and bread that seemed three days old. Staff often forgot enough towels, then charged us for towels that weren’t even there. Hardly anyone spoke English. Our room was dirty, the beds were old and felt like you could fall through them, and there were no electrical outlets. The light broke and they didn’t fix it for two days. The kids’ bunk beds had no ladder or guardrail. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The food was fine, though nothing special. Our room was okay too, but didn’t seem very clean. It was terribly cold, and some windows wouldn’t close.
